For over 23 years, the music festival that originated in France became the perfect opportunity for all generations to discover new music and relive the legendary ones and this year, Alliance Française de Manille, the Embassy of France to the Philippines, Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines, in partnership with B-Side Productions made the event even bigger for their patrons.
A Diverse Culture of Music
With Metro Manila’s traffic and the country’s demands, it is truly impressive how Fete De La Musique caters to a diverse genre of music. They will have 30 pocket stages in Makati on June 17, a Main Stage in Intramuros on June 23, three stages in Palawan on June 17 and 24, and a stage in Baguio on June 24.
Your Ultimate Guide
The other venues may be out of reach for some of us from the Metro, but it can still be undeniably exhausting to go back and forth between all the stages of Fete De La Musique if you don’t plan ahead, especially for the June 17 Pocket Stages of Makati.
This year, Alliance Française de Manille provided us with the full lineup of each stage and a map that helps make us festival ready on Saturday. Images below are the guides:
A simple reminder is to check the weather forecast and stay dry. And don’t starve yourself – besides the fact that the music festival is a free event, most venues also serve food and drinks. Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy and be open-minded. There will be so much to learn and many great moments to experience.
